What players have actually logged.

Extra detail from MoodReads, Parade, threshingdaygame.com’s player wall, and dragonkind.wiki. None of this is a drop table published by Yarros Ink.

The color bars and named dragons are a snapshot copied from the public fan tally on threshingdaygame.com/dragonkind (they label it player-reported). Totals move as people add cards. Recheck that page for a live count.

Choices readers say they were offered

MoodReads lists these as reader-reported decision types, not a full script:

Reader tips on the same page, also marked unconfirmed: don’t be indecisive; be honest about flaws; go in without weapons; approach a red from the left. One anecdote: a reader went alone, ran from a red, chose orange over brown, roared back, and bonded. Other recaps say shouting bonded some people and burned others — so it is not a trick.

threshingdaygame.com cites a Reddit player who ran the same route several times, burned each time, then bonded. Threads reports cluster around three or four deaths before a bond — that is a cluster, not a required death count. Parade, citing Yarros, separately put incineration around 10% no matter what you do, which can sit next to those retry stories without being the same statistic.

FAQ

Player reports — questions

Are these official drop rates?

No. The 374-card bars are a snapshot of a public fan wall on threshingdaygame.com, which they label player-reported. People who post are not a random sample.

Why do first-try bond rates look high if people also die a lot?

That wall showed 61% bonded on the first try and about 2.1 attempts per bond. Threads still clusters around three or four deaths for some readers. Those are different groups of self-reports, not one official statistic. Parade’s ~10% incineration line is Yarros via Parade, another separate figure.

Can I copy someone else’s named path to get their dragon?

No evidence that works. Same answers have produced a bond for one person and a death for another. Names like Ruadhith or Eidhich are outcomes people posted, not cheat codes.

What choices are actually documented?

MoodReads (reader-reported): alone vs squadmates; help an injured cadet; toward or away from sulfur; color-approach borrowed from the books. That is not a full script dump.

Is the Dragonkind shop the game?

No. MoodReads notes Rebecca’s shop “Dragonkind” page is merch sorted by dragon color. The interactive Threshing is dragonkind.com.
